The series
Hidden in Plain Sight is a series of eight non-fiction books by Paul L. G. Harris on ancient texts, hidden codes, science and the unexplained. Books One and Two are launching first. Each book is written to the same plan: what the source says, what the evidence shows, and what the author thinks it means.

Author biography
Short. Paul L. G. Harris is a UK author and technologist. The Hidden in Plain Sight series checks the ancient, the strange and the suppressed against the evidence, in plain language, and invites readers to check him in turn.
Longer. Paul L. G. Harris lives in the UK and works in technology, helping teams understand and sell AI and cloud platforms. He has been fascinated by the unknown since he was a boy staring up at the stars, and years of reading everything from Chariots of the Gods to Our Ancestors Came from Outer Space taught him to look at the evidence for himself. The L and the G in his name are for his two grandads, Leslie and George.
How the books are made
The books are drafted with the help of an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) from the author's research, notes and personal stories, then rewritten, checked and directed by the author. Guest sections written by the AI are labelled as such, and AI-generated illustrations are listed in the picture credits of each book. The author's tests, published on this site, are run by the AI on public data.
