Test

Real or Random?

Ten rounds. One of each pair came from chance. One came from a person trying to look random. Which is which?

Why this test exists

People are very good at seeing patterns and very bad at knowing how much pattern chance produces. Real random sequences are streakier and clumpier than they feel. Faked ones are too tidy. Every claim in this series about codes, alignments and hidden numbers comes down to that gap, which is why the books keep asking for a comparison with chance before anyone gets excited.

Your result is not stored with your name. Only the score goes into the running average.
